If you haven't read the book Born to Run yet, you should. It might change your life.
If you have read the book, then you should know all about Barefoot Ted. Perhaps he was the reason you first tried running barefoot or went for a jog in a pair of Vibram FiveFingers? Or perhaps you just found him to be a really interesting and unique person?
Well, Ted's world travels have finally brought him back to Seattle, and we're excited to annouce that he'll be in Born to Run's Seattle store this Saturday at 9 am to show off his new line of Luna Sandals, talk about what races he has lined up for 2013, and lead a 5K Fun Run around the South Lake Union area.
He's already been spotted crusing all over Seattle on his beloved Solowheel, so Saturday might be the perfect chance to check out this new-age transportation device in action too. It's actually really cool. YouTube it.
Wether you've met Ted before or not, this is an event you won't want to miss! So come enjoy a good time with local friends, hang out with Barefoot Ted, take a run around South Lake Union, and gorge yourself on some free treats. It'll be fun.
See you on Saturday morning at 9 am!
